There is so much I want to make and so little time. I am in the process of making a fairy doll and Humpty Dumpty (who I am very excited about!) After that it is onto Halloween work. Got lots of ideas for that holiday. It is my favorite to create for. I was asked on Etsy if I created Santas. It made me realize that I haven't done that in a long time. Maybe time to get back to the man in the big red suit.
I don't really have anyone following this blog yet, but I haven't asked friends to join yet either. Anyway, if you are an artist and want me to feature your work, let me know. I would love to make this a forum to share rather than just about my artistic endeavors.

Here is a piece that I just sold
I will miss pumpkin witchie. She is soon going to a new home. Here is a picture of her. She will be joined by frog prince ornament. I so appreciate this customer who has purchased several of my works.
My first post
Hi everyone,
Guess I am joining the blogging world. I thought I would write a little about me. I am creating this blog to share my art and the art of other artists. I would love to trade ideas and art knowledge with the greater art community out there.
I am have always had a passion to create, experiment and grow. I have a natural attraction to all things whimsical, fun and childlike. I believe this shows up in my work. I enjoy working in both 2D and 3D and don't limit myself to one medium.
Like so many, I have always been an artist, it is my form of meditation. I am very drawn to art created for the holidays and children's illustrations. As a painter, I loved Renoir's comment "Why shouldn't art be pretty? There are enough unpleasant things in the world." As a teenager, I collected antique children's books. My favorite are the Wizard of Oz books, although they are expensive! I also have Alice in Wonderland. Very fun. I love creating magical and Anthropomorphic characters in both sculpture and drawing. In fact one often leads to the other. I just let my imagination and the process carry me through the project. Sometimes I end up creating something entirely different than I had envisioned. That is the fun of it!
